8th ENAG Meeting Leuven
November 7-8, 2019
The Politics of the Neo-Avant-Garde
The eighth ENAG meeting focuses on the political aspects, strategies, intentions and effects of the avant-garde. What exactly are the politics of the avant-garde and is there a major difference, in this respect, between the historical avant-garde and the neo-avant-garde? How are those politics related to poetics and to artistic praxis? These questions are tackled in a plenary lecture by Sascha Bru (Leuven) and in five parallel meetings dealing with the politics of various forms of poetry, prose and performance.
